 DESCRIPTION:
IMEM Pole-Mounted Transformers are applicable to aerial distribution systems in residential areas, low income neighborhoods in the center of the cities, small industries, shopping centers and for different loadings.

This is the most used transformer for the urban and rural electricity supplies. They are designed for the installation of outdoor service with a wide variety of high and low voltage connections, taking the flexibility of the specifications into account.

Considering all the accessories and the different arrangements, the relationship of your equipment can be adjusted for your needs, designed to comply with the specifications of the official mandatory regulations (NOM002-SEDE, NMX-J-116_ANCE regulation and NOM001-SEDE regulation).

 Special features.
The cores are cold-rolled and built from thin grain-oriented M3-MOH silicon steel laminations with a heat treatment and laser beam orientation imported from USA and Japan.

Folded octagonal core, 5-leg enclosed type, 0.23 mm 0.009 plg. of a high magnetic permeability with carlite insulation coating to resist 820ºC of temperature.

Manufactured with UNICORE machines of great precision to achieve the best no-load losses.

The A.T. coils are built with magnet wire coated with varnish 150ºC class. B.T Coils. are manufactured with a thin metal sheet or isolated sole-plate with electrostatic dust 180°C class, compatible to resist the exposure to oil and not deteriorate its properties.
They are made in electrolytic copper and/or aluminum of a very low electrical resistance.

The insulation used in the coils is thermal class 120ºC formed by Kraft paper coated with epoxic resin with a diamond-shape on both sides, insulated cardboards and crepe paper imported from USA and Europe.

The tanks are subjected to a chemical process of the surface preparation which generates the appropriate fitting for the coating and/or sandblasting with steel pellets and electrostatic painting or liquids.

The used oil is of non-inhibited naphthenic or paraffinic type, obtaining the fractioned distillation of crude oil, prepared and refined for the use in electronic equipment. Complying with the NMX-J-123 regulation.

Under the client's request, we use any kind of dielectric liquid with a high thermal capacity such as FR3 ENVIROTEMP,R-TEMP,SILICON, etc.

 Implementation

Standard Transformer.

5-position changer, normal. 2 above and 2 below nominal primary voltage, of internal or external operation.

Designed to operate at 1000 or 2300 m.s.n.m.

on a 65ºC increase in the temperature, on a measure of 30ºC and a maximum of 40ºC in a 24-hour process.

For single-phase transformers, in high voltage, a connection between line and line (YT or a nozzle). On three-phase transformers with delta-star connection./p>

On low voltage, parallel or serial connections for the single-phase and star transformers with a neutral point out of the tank, for three-phase transformers.

For regular environments or hot weather./p>

Self-protected transformers.

Protection against voltage excess caused by operation maneuvers, opening/closing and atmospheric discharges.

Protection against severe discharges (short circuit) due to failure in the secondary circuit.

BT switch

For the protection against overloads or secondary failures of the transformer. This one is selected in such a way that it considers the aspects of the magnetization current, the peaks of overload and the maximum load of the transformer.
